I had the great idea after Bullara that i would head inland to Tom Price and Karajini National park rather than going up the coast. My idea was to stay in either one of 2 free camps just prior to Tom Price as the caravan Park at Tom Price doesn't take dogs but when i got to them they were right off the road and no one else was there so it left me with no choice but to continue to Tom Price and sneak meg in to the park.
I arrived on dark which was good as easier to hide Meg and i booked an unpowered site as they are usually further away from everyone so all was going well until the following morning when i got up early and thought i would get out of the park before having breakfast so i wouldn't get caught and would you believe FLAT BATTERY! NOoooooo! i had to ring the RAC and wait for them to arrive and replace the battery for the cool sum of $230 before i could make my get away.It was all a bit stressful but didn't get caught.
I had a look around town before heading through Karajini National Park. I couldn't go into some of the really spectacular spots because of Meg but at least i had a look anyway.
That night i stayed in a great free camp that had great views of the National Park
